In the city there are a lot of bike commuters and the types of bikes they ride range from the absurd to the straight up cool. The riders that always get my attention though are the ones that ride single speed (or fixed gear) bikes.
The really good riders of these bikes, ride them with no brakes and the techniques they employ to bring the bike to a stop will range from putting a foot on the wheel to jack-knifing the bike sideways.
Some of these guys have mad skillz. So I started looking up bikers of this kind and lo and behold I come across Mash Transit Productions. Check these guys out in action here. Watch the first video titled AUSTIN – TEXAS. Shit, they’re riding like that without helmets!
Oh yeah, and that fella that joins them? The one with a white t-shirt and khaki shorts, look familiar? That’s Lance Armstrong. I always figured he was a crazy nut.
Anyway, these guys remind me of why I like biking so much. Sure, I may not pull the stunts they do, but just sitting and going for spin, is just plain old fun.

Hello guys!
The nuts-and-bolts approach is something Recycle-a-Bicycle has always done particularly well. The organization was founded in 1999 with a straightforward mandate: Repair abused, remaindered, broken, or worn bikes and funnel them back to consumers. At the time, New Yorkers were wary, says Lisa Stein, the executive director. Used bicycles were something for the junk pile, and most experienced riders preferred the security of a brand-new aluminum frame.Bikes Layouts

I suggest just practice every day and get out there and ride. I started riding a lot about 2 months ago everyday for a couple hours after school, and i am doing dirt jumps bigger than i could have ever imagined, just practice and the skill will come

The bicycles are often used to loose weight and so it is necessary that a bicycle must be updated and new features must be installed as per the time goes on

When it is possible, I watch the x games on tv. I am amazed at the stunts they do. If I didn’t see them do it, I wouldn’t believe it to be possible. Wow

That is way more complicated than it needs to be. If you’re looking at durability or design-life, that connecting-rod and worm gear won’t last very long.
I think that you’re onto something with the compressed air. Try a regulated 30 psi air feed, controlled by a solenoid valve. You could easily pick up all these parts and tubing at any industrial supply store.

This is such a great resource that you are providing and you give it away for free. I love seeing websites that understand the value of providing a quality resource for free.

What I have thought of so far is putting the button in a sliding track and fix a jointed arm on its center. The other end of the arm while be attached to a joint on a rotating gear powered by a motor and torque gear.
Here are some images (yes they were made in power point)
My primary concern is how stable this will be (will it be able to handle button mashers). Is there a better method? Perhaps air-pressure?
Maybe someone knows of a good forum to post this at?
Ideas? Comments? Links?
Thanks,
