GETTING THE LIST READY
Is it that “wonderful time of the year” already? I’m already talking about it on my morning commute on the train. Yes, I’ve made some friends. Yes, Sal, I should come over and sit with you at least once, but we’re coming over on Friday … so that should be ok, right?
So, what about our Christmas Lists? I suppose we have our eyes on some things. For me, and more so for Harp, it’s the house. That comes in February though, a little late for Christmas, but just in time for Harp’s birthday.
The Little Man has been super busy comprising his list of Christmas gifts. It’s approaching six miles in length as of today.
The Little Lady is good when it comes to lists. I plan on fully exploiting the fact that she doesn’t really know what it is:

“Tiia?”
“Yes,” as she’s downing some cashew nuts.
“You don’t want anything for Christmas, right?”
“Uhh, YA!”
“Great … I do have some suggestions though. How about Super Mario Galaxy for the Wii, or Assassin’s Creed for the 360? Those would make fine gifts for a 19 month old girl, wouldn’t you agree?”
“Uhh, YA!”
“Great, I’ve created a draft list for you, “ I pull out the list, “and it’s type-written for clarity and legibility, okay?”
“… K”
“Now, if you just go over this ... here … and here, you’ll find that you also want some liquor gift sets, they come complete with glasses … oh and I’ll take care of them for you. And here you’ll find you want an iPhone, with any reasonable accessories … and here you want some additional tools. Just like we talked about, does that sound about right?”
“… K”
“Good, now if you’ll be so kind as to sign your name right here … Here, let me help you … perfect. There, done … let’s hope all your gifts come.
I love you Tiia.”
“Ah too doo” (I do too)
