GUITAR HERO II ROCKS!!
It’s quite possible that I’ve found my next favorite game. Pick up the Guitar controller folks, cuz Guitar Hero II just flat out rocks!! I can’t get enough of this game. The craze and buzz that has surrounded it since it was released is well justified …
Guitar Hero II
It’s a simple enough game to play. The basic idea is to play the guitar riff/chords that go along with songs. I have the game for the xBox360 and I suppose you could use the standard controller to play, but the game takes a far more immersive dimension when using a guitar controller.
Color coded notes come down to the target line and as they hit the line, you are expected to press the corresponding colored button and the strum bar … representing a successful pluck of the note(s) … the more notes you hit as the song plays the more points you get. It’s as simple as that.
Guitar Hero II: nuvAE ROCKS OUT!!
nuvAE, is earning his stripes in Career Mode now, playing the entire circuit in Easy Mode just to get started. He’s now in Medium mode and starting to earn some cash for his efforts.
He’ll soon be buying new guitars and threads for the super cool rock star look. And he’ll be earning sponsorship deals from some of the music industries biggest names. Why, he just signed a major deal with Line6 for their collection of amps and speakers.
The game is awesome folks and for those of you that love the guitar sound, the choice of music is amazing as well. I sometimes leave the game with songs in my head and my fingers going over the notes that I was just playing. It’s too fun.
The Little Man and Little Lady get a kick out of their Dad trying to make out like he’s Slash from Guns ‘n Roses. Hell, with a sweet track of Sweet Child of Mine to nail like this guy did on Expert …
why not?
Go get it … and play like a rock star!!

Kingdom Of Heaven: The story of Balian’s quest for redemption and his battles against those who seek power in it’s name. This is an excellent movie whose message is perhaps more important today than it was then.
Dawkins tackles it all in his no holds barred approach to whether God exists. The stance? The probability of it? Very unlikely.
"Hopes and Fears” and “Under The Iron Sea” by Keane get constant play from my iTunes. Find out why their music is so good. After all they were the band that inspired Coldplay.
As Marcus Fenix, you fight a war against the immense Locust Horde, which not only out powers but outnumbers you, your squad, and the entire force of the Coalition of Ordered Governments. Time to pull out the stops in a game that delivers the next-generation in tactical combat systems in Gears of War.
