FARM SILOS
On the way home from driving around north of Brampton. I found this farm. The sun was setting below the tree line behind me. So, I only had a few minutes to snap off several shots capturing the the side lit silos and barn.
I set the the aperture to f/8. The “who cares” aperture and metered the shutter speed accordingly.
As far as tripods go, sometimes you need to improvise. When I looked at the reflection of the sun setting on the side mirror, I had to act fast. So, I rested the camera on the door of the car with the window rolled down.
There’s a lot of weather correction that goes on in this area. Meaning if it gets too hot for too long, a thunder storm is bound to pop up. I’m sure the the clouds rolling in will make for some great shots.
Will have to check the Weather Channel more often now.
