OUT OF FOCUS
I never really care if I pull off the perfect shot because at the moment, each shot is a learning experience for me. Sometimes, even the shots that aren’t perfect are the ones I like best.
This one of The Little Man was taken while we were indoors. I love the 50mm and it’s wide aperture for that. Rarely do I need the use of a flash.
He wouldn’t stand still, he’s a toddler afterall, what was I thinking? So I set the camera to aperture priority (meaning that I’d let the camera decide the shutter speed) while I would tinker with various aperture settings (how much light I wanted to come through the lens) to compensate ... or ... over and under compensate
I didn’t really get off any really good shots, but I started to learn how to pull off bad shots, technically, but good shots, artistically ... you follow?
Now, I’m not professing to be an artist, but I like this shot.
