TAAJ CANADIEN

The Little Man loves to play hockey and he’s hard pressed to get out on the ice without his favorite jersey on. He’s enrolled in a summer session that required him to wear the jersey they supplied. Thankfully, the color they gave him to wear was red.

Good grief, the strings I would have had to pull if he were to wear blue ...

We used our Canon point and shoot for this shot. I didn’t shoot in raw, and ... well let’s be honest here ... this isn’t really a well taken shot and that’s largely due to the fact that I haven’t taken the time to familiarize myself with the camera and it’s settings. No meta data to go along with this image ... I couldn’t find the RAW file.

GETTING READY TO HEAD OUT

Harp took this snap. She’s getting pretty good with handling the camera. I’ve still got to give her a primer on the finer details, so she’ll be more comfortable when shooting in Manual Mode.

She did a fantastic job of capturing The Little Lady, who I think was looking up at The Little Man doing something.

The Little Lady, is really starting to come into her own now, and her smiles are always there waiting for you to receive them.

AFTER HAIRCUT

So, The Little Lady got a haircut. Harp and I didn’t really want to do this at first, but when Tiia developed a very mild case of cradle cap, we decided to go ahead and take her hair off.

It helped greatly, her scalp has cleared up ... and well, heh ... I kind of think her new look is pretty cute. Khush dropped by the other day and says The Little Lady reminded her of Seema ... good lord ^_-

Anyhow, the cut is getting her rave reviews from the family.

THE LITTLE LADY (no.2)

The second shot in the series I’m posting. Here The Little Lady rolled back on to her back and was a little uncomfortable with the camera so close to her. So, I pulled back.

She liked it better and started to kick and move her arms around a lot. Here’s one of her when she stopped just long enough for a shot.

THE LITTLE LADY

So, for Father’s Day, I got to spend my day with Tiia while Harp took The Little Man out to Canada’s Wonderland. He had a blast.

I had a great day with The Little Lady and decided that she should become accustomed to the camera. This is the first in a small series of shots that I will be posting this week. I took a little time with this in photoshop. No, I didn’t color correct. I adjusted the levels slightly and add a bit of a soft glow to it as well.

Yeah that’s right, things are calming down a bit ... and your’s truly finally has time for the photoblog.

Tiia makes her first introduction to our Photoblog. What better way than to snap a pic of her while she was looking up at me ... on my birthday.

Robert Babiarz had his Nikon D70 handy during our company Christmas party. He’s very skilled with the lens and I think he did a pretty good job with this shot.

Go and check some of his work out Spotphoto.ca ... he has a great eye for photography.

NOTRE DAME BASILICA

This shot is from within the Notre Dame Basilica in Montreal. One step in here and your breath is taken from you. It’s a completely awe inspiring place. I’ve yet to see similar churches in Europe though.

I didn’t bring my tripod with me. I greatly regretted it. This was the best shot I could pull off with the exposure times being what they were. I used the edge of a pew to stabalize the camera a little.

Did a little post processing by rotating the image clockwise to level it and then cropping it.

I snapped this from seated from within the Rogers Center, just before the start of a Blue Jays game. I took several where the dome was included in the shot. Just to give a reference as to where I was, visually, when I took it.

But I didn’t like them as much as liked this one.

RUBBER BALL

I thought I was back to posting images in the photoblog on the previous image. It didn’t turn out that way. The images will start appearing with great regularity now.

This one is of the rubber ball that The Little Man and Sim were playing with, in the backyard. The ball doesn’t look like that now. It’s been under some heavy usage since.

Thought I’d capture it in its glory days ... tee hee.
